These are fence-panel kits for existing structural columns or posts—not freestanding fence runs or railing kits.
Plan your installation in three steps
1. Measure the opening
Measure between the finished column faces at the top, middle, and bottom. Record the desired panel height and check that the columns are sound and plumb. Posts and slats are cut to fit on site.
2. Identify the column material
Attach one Aluminum Side Post to each column. Select mounting screws or anchors for the actual supporting material. Column-mounting screws and anchors are not included.
3. Check the width
Openings wider than 8 feet require a center support. The 10-foot and 12-foot kits include a two-channel center post, steel post base, and aluminum base cover.

Important: Supplied slat lengths and nominal kit dimensions are not final cut dimensions. Confirm the installed post positions and actual channel-to-channel measurements before cutting. Supporting surfaces, anchors, panel height, and site conditions must be suitable for the installation.
The actual Alumission support components
- Aluminum Side Post: single-channel end support for attachment to existing columns. Profile dimensions: 1.750″ × 2.115″; channel opening: 0.826″.
- Aluminum Post 2 Channels: center support with a slat channel on each side. The wide kits include its cap and two snap covers.
- Zinc-Coated Steel Post Base: 4″ × 4″ × 1/8″ plate with a 1-1/4″ square steel stem. The wide-kit schedule specifies an 18″ base for 3′–4′ heights and a 4′ base for 5′–6′ heights.
- Aluminum Base Cover: 4.375″ square × 1.000″ high. It conceals base-plate fasteners. Fit it over the steel stem before installing the aluminum post.
What is included in your kit?
Each style’s Product Details tab lists the exact slat quantities, spacer packs, caps, and bracket hardware for every size. Standard single-span kits include two Side Posts and two caps. The 10′ and 12′ kits add the complete center-support assembly. Slat counts and spacing depend on the selected design and height.
Plan separately: column anchors or mounting screws appropriate for the actual material, cutting and drilling tools, drill bits, and silicone. Do not substitute aluminum-assembly screws for structural column anchors.

How do the panels attach to my columns?
A Side Post is attached to each column. The horizontal slats fit into the facing channels. Choose fasteners for the actual column construction and installation loads.
When do I need a center post?
Use a two-channel center post when the opening is wider than 8′. Standard 10′ and 12′ kits include the center post, snap covers, cap, steel post base, and aluminum base cover.
Can I cut the kit to fit?
Yes. Measure the actual opening and installed support positions, then cut the aluminum posts and slats to fit. Use a saw and blade suitable for aluminum.
Are column-mounting screws included?
No. The correct screws or anchors depend on the supporting material. The installer must select suitable mounting hardware for the columns and center-post foundation.
