Set the galvanized tube in concrete, allow the foundation to cure, and sleeve the compatible aluminum post over it.
This 1-1/4″ × 1-1/4″ galvanized square steel tube provides strong internal reinforcement for compatible Alumission aluminum fence and gate posts. Its 1/8″ wall and galvanized finish make it suitable for concrete-set installations, core-drilled mounting, and post extensions.
Set the steel tube directly in concrete or install it in a 2″ core-drilled hole with compatible anchoring cement, then sleeve the aluminum post over it. Secure the sleeved aluminum post to the steel tube with #12 self-drilling screws. The tube can also be used as an internal connector when extending compatible aluminum posts, including sliding-gate frames longer than 10′.
